2026-03-12: Cocopedia.com is now using a new caching system that should make things faster. Please let me know if you encounter any new issues.

2026-03-15: MediaWiki has been reinstalled and the old database and files restored. It was pretty clogged up from being upgraded so many times since 2004. I am also testing out Cloudflare to see if it can prevent the 'bot assaults that took the site down last year.

2026-03-16: Special thanks to Don Barber for hosting a backup mirror of CoCopedia: https://cocopedia.dgb3.net

Terry Steen Interview today!

Coco 1/2/3 (and multi-platform)

1) Jim Brain of Go4Retro (and president of Glenside) posted a link to a YouTube video that shows his MMU card upgrade for the SuperPET, and running OS-9 Level 1 on it (including using a Vic20 as a terminal). The SuperPET had a 6809 like the Coco, and the video is on the Commodore History YouTube channel:

2) 8 Bits in the Basement on YouTube put up a half hour video showing some PCB's that MrDave6309 made and shipped over to him in France. This included MrDave's LED/ROM/555 timer cartridge (which has two 555 timer chips, a ROM socket that handles >16K ROM's, and it uses one of the 555's for bank switching 16K chunks from larger ROM's). He demos it controlling LED's, including some games patched to use them, and other things:
