2026-03-15: MediaWiki has been reinstalled and the old database and files restored. It was pretty clogged up from being upgraded so many times since 2004. Defeater is a program by Carl England that allows making duplicates of copy protected floppy disks. Carl has said he has yet to find any disk he couldn't use it to make a clone of. It does not break copy protection -- the copy will still be protected. Defeater has found new life as a way to make disk images of copy protected programs to use in emulators, or with the CoCoSDC disk controller.
