| 2026-03-12: Cocopedia.com is now using a new caching system that should make things faster. Please let me know if you encounter any new issues.
2026-03-15: MediaWiki has been reinstalled and the old database and files restored. It was pretty clogged up from being upgraded so many times since 2004. I am also testing out Cloudflare to see if it can prevent the 'bot assaults that took the site down last year. 2026-03-16: Special thanks to Don Barber for hosting a backup mirror of CoCopedia: https://cocopedia.dgb3.net |

Game On segment videos:
===============================
1) Ken Reighard posted the link to a video on the history of Zaxxon, including home ports, which has the Coco mentioned as a decent port. The Coco mention happens around here:

2) Brian Palmer put up some screenshots from a game that was just uploaded to the archive this past week, a Coco 1/2 graphical adventure game called "Indiana Jim". It appears to be joystick/mouse driven.

3) And probably the last of the Petsasjim1 Dragon games (since he has hit 'Z' in his alphabetical listing of games he has made videos for the Dragon): World Boxing (in BASIC, no less):

Wumpus Mansion (also in BASIC, and basically (HA!) has two mini games):

6809 Express (after a bit of the intro music, fast forward to 3:17) He doesn't really learn to play the game, with a plan bombing your train, it looks interesting. I assume the bottom is a map for changing tracks?:

I will mention - Jim is still doing Dragon videos, but now covering educational programs, tutorial programs, utilities, etc. I don't think that appeals to a wider audience, so I won't be specifically covering them, but for those interested, he is still producing non-game Dragon videos.
