MediaWiki:Sitenotice
2026-03-12: Cocopedia.com is now using a new caching system that should make things faster. Please let me know if you encounter any new issues.

2026-03-15: MediaWiki has been reinstalled and the old database and files restored. It was pretty clogged up from being upgraded so many times since 2004. I am also testing out Cloudflare to see if it can prevent the 'bot assaults that took the site down last year.

2026-03-16: Special thanks to Don Barber for hosting a backup mirror of CoCopedia: https://cocopedia.dgb3.net

Use this template when starting a new info page.  Copy the following code then when you create your new page, paste it into the empty page and edit accordingly.  Make sure the page name matches exactly as it needs to appear, with proper upper and lowercase (i.e. "Rainbow Magazine" not "Rainbow magazine").  You may also upload a photo with the same name as the page.  i.e. if you create a page called "[[Rainbow Magazine]]" then you will want to create a .jpg (it must be a JPEG!) photo called "Rainbow_Magazine.jpg" and upload that. Once uploaded, the photo will appear in the table/box. The photo will be displayed as a thumbnail, with the full size version available with a click, but try to keep the image size reasonable (640x480 VGA size max, perhaps?). If you need help, ask!

  • At the bottom, [[Category:XXX]], should be set to match the category (Software, People, Books, etc.).
  • "infosource" is where the information came from (which could be you, or another website, etc.).
